At first, having to blog this semester seemed like a monotonous task that had to be completed by a certain deadline. It was my first time ever having to maintain and update a blog. To my surprise, this daunting task became secondhand nature and became a weekly assignment that I looked forward to. It was unlike any other form of writing I’ve done before because although the topics were of academic nature, you could combine media and personal opinions to create something new and personalized. We covered different topics such as your online persona, films, and the art of editing images. After having to blog this semester, I’ve been inspired to continue this writing style for personal leisure. I enjoy how your thoughts can reach the mass and how people can thread and add on to your blog, ultimately creating an entirely new piece of work.
